La Mata is a very attractive complex with beautifully kept gardens and large communal pool. There is ample parking within the private grounds. The apartment comprises of a spacious living/dining room with an access to a very large terrace, a fitted kitchen, a bathroom and two double bedrooms (one double bed and two single beds) the larger of which opens out to the terrace, from where one can view the pool and gardens and the pretty mountains of Cabrera. The complex is situated just off the beach road and the nearest beach is 250 metres away. The recently opened golf course of Marina de la Torre is nearby. There are bus stops close by for access to Mojacar Village, the Playa and the next town of Garrucha a fishing port with some lovely seafood restaurants.
