A Spanish tapas bar/restaurant, the owner went out of his way to adapt his menu for me (I'm a vegetarian) and he also serves the best Spanish red wine I've ever tasted. Other good restaurants for veggies are
Solo's, La Cantina & Los Amigos for veggie breakfasts. All four also have plenty of choice for the meat eaters! La Gaviota, Mojacar - Just about THE best restaurant in
Mojacar. Garlic bread to die for and the Lamb Shoulder is a must. Jose (Spain's answer to Delboy) will charm just about all you women out there, if Manuel doesn't get there first.
If you like cheesy Spanish pop songs, Jose has the best collection in Southern Spain and will gladly sing you
a selection as he bounds from table to table. Opposite the Jolly Lemon. Definitely a must for good food, wine and a laugh. Carol's Bar - We visited Carole's bar/restaurant
several times. The food is excellant and there is always plenty of it. You could
not meet a more friendly and pleasant couple than the people who own it, Carol
and Paul. Look forward to going back there soon. Bar Coast - If you visit Mojacar, as I
did with my family recently, then you must try the bar coast on the playa close
to Pueblo Indalo. Ricky is the best host you could find and with his family
provide good food, music and fun. If you go during August look out for Diane she
is the one laughing loud enough to stop the traffic. Badgers Bar - This little place has a lovely atmosphere and is run by a really nice english family. They cook real english grub so even though your in spain its like your back at your local for sunday roast. We recommend the roast badger, I mean Chicken. If your in the local area its well worth a pop-in. Kuki's - It was our first time in Mojacar as a family we were looking for some where with a friendly
atmosphere. Kuki,s is an excellent bar they do the best snacks in all Mojacar.
Its a family run bar with a great atmosphere and they will always make you feel
welcome. We always had a great time. Los Amigos - I have been coming to mojacar
for 4 years now and would like to recommend Los Amigos bar/restaurant where
Geoff and his lovely staff will make you so welcome and the food is the best
especially the Los Amigos chicken is great. You will have a great night near the
Hotel Indarlo, stop off next time you are in mojacar. Irish Rover - I have been to Mojacar twice
in the last two years. I would definitely recommend the "Irish Rover"
bar on the Playa for great live entertainment and also there were one or two
nights a week they had "karyoke". We really had a blast! Torre Bahia - I have been visiting Mojacar for about two years, because my parents went to
live there. Its a great place and I must recommend Torre Bahia restaurant. We have been coming to Mojacar for 17 years but
always stay in the village. Kimticks - We have just returned from Mojacar and recommend you visit Kimricks, this offers excellent food and service - 10/11/01 Solo's We had two weeks in mojacar and would like to recommend the bar Solo's for it's excellent home made food and warm relaxing welcome offered by Ronnie and his staff. Solo's is on Mojacar Beach on the way down to the Hotel Indarlo and if you go you will not be disappointed. Craig & Nicola (thirsty~people). Bar El Pinar I just wanted to say how good a meal we had at Bar El Pinar. We only found it by mistake but it was really great. The food was so good and the staff made us feel so welcome. We would highly recommend it especially the lovely pool for our kids. Peter and Vicki Omega Bar & Restaurant - A very
friendly Spanish place. Diego prepares the best "Alles de pollo"
(chicken wings sautéed in garlic) that we tasted during our unfortunately short
three year stay in Mojacar. Felipe's bar and restaurant is also one of our
favourite Spanish places. Mrs. Barnarbe is a wonderful cook and all of her men
(the family) are handsome and friendly! Go for the food, go for the view, go for
the friendships that can be made. Badgers Bar - "We have spent a most
enjoyable holiday in Mojacar and would like to tell you about our favourite bar,
Badgers Bar. The entertainment includes Karaoke, the food was very reasonable
and Keith Bradley (an ex Aston Villa player) was an excellent host. Children are
welcome and there was a very congenial atmosphere. Badgers is situated on the
Playa not far from the Hotel Indarlo. Well worth a visit!" Badgers Bar - "Carol and I had the pleasure of spending some
wonderful times at Badgers Bar. Everyone is so friendly and the atmosphere was great We would recommend it
as a great spot for family or individuals" Bar Coast - "Myself and seven others
are just back from Mojacar and we would like to recommend bar coast, situated
about 100 yards from Pueblo Indarlo on Mojacar Playa. The place is spotlessly
clean, provides excellentfood and drink at very reasonable prices, plays good
music and is ran by7 very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. We were
very impressed. Try it out! You'll not be disapointed. Which Restaurant ? Beechcomber Bar and Restaurant - I recently visited The Beechcomber bar and restaurant on Mojacar playa. not only were the beautiful blonde waitresses wonderfully efficient but more than helpful with my two crazy children. The food was excellent and very good value and the view of the sea from the outside dining area was breathtaking. I would certainly recommend a visit. Bar La Paratá - I love the atmosphere, but not as much as the food at La Parata. Their Sunday lunches are incredible and my particular favourite is the shoulder of lamb. Great restaurant, you must try it out. Laguna Restaurant & Bar
- Just spent 3 weeks in the Garrucha/Mojacar area and found the Laguna Restaurant
& Bar a great pace. Nigel and Stuart are great hosts they make you feel very
welcome and the food was excellent, as were the staff, we will be back. Bar La Paratá - ''Superb Sunday lunches,
but you must book.'' Bellavista Restaurant - We got back from Mojacar about 2 days ago, and when we were out there we went to the Bellavista Restaurant. It was great. They do a number of pizzas, children's meals, spag bol, chicken, sea food etc. and lovely desserts. The staff there were always really polite too and it's not expensive. It's about 5 minutes walk from the Pueblo Indalo (take a right turn out of the hotel). Enjoy! Laguna Restaurant - A group of us had a most wonderful evening at the Pueblo Laguna Restaurant,
Nigel was a great host. I would recommend this restaurant to one and all Hotel Felipe San Bernabe - I used to live
in Mojacar and know most of the bars well having a very thirsty husband! My
favourite of them all has to be Felipes, formally known as Hotel Felipe San
Bernabe, opposite the Agora Italian restaurant overlooking the Med. Owned by a
lovely Spanish family - friendly - good food. Also has very good accommodation
above in their hotel. Part of me will always be there.
